Complaints

How to raise a complaint with us, with the operator, or with the regulator.

We take errors seriously. If something we published is factually wrong or misleading, we want to know—and we'll correct it.

If your complaint is about a lottery operator, ticket, or prize, use the escalation process below.

  1. Start with us. If you believe we've published inaccurate information, email our corrections team at [email protected]. We aim to respond within three business days. If we were wrong, we'll publish a correction on the record.
  2. Contact the operator directly. Complaints about lottery products, prize payments, or ticket disputes must go to the lottery operator themselves—we don't sell tickets and can't resolve claims. For Queensland lottery products, contact Golden Casket (The Lott) using the contact details on thelott.com or goldencasket.com.
  3. Escalate to the regulator if needed. If the operator hasn't resolved your complaint within a reasonable timeframe, you can lodge a formal complaint with the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR Queensland). OLGR publishes a complaints form and investigates licensed-operator misconduct.
